I was looking for an alarm clock that plugged in with a cord, had a 'low' option for the alarm's sound, had an easy snooze (easy to hit in the morning, that is), had a small footprint, had an easy way to turn the alarm off and on, and was very easy to set for both the time and the alarm. This Timex T126 fits perfectly. The alarm on/off is a simple switch that goes left and right and hits only two positions (unlike some alarms where you have 3 or more positions the switch can hit and therefore have the danger of accidentally putting the switch in some intermediate position).
No bells and whistles with this model, but of course that was a strength as far as I was concerned. I am now looking for this model in a color other than pink so my son can have one as well. The clock looks just like what is pictured, so the pink isn't subtle! :) I should add that the casing doesn't feel cheap--it's not super heavy, of course, but it isn't going to blow away in a light breeze either.

Nice clock for my daughter. Works great. Plugs in. Price was good. Wanted something girly, but not little girly. She likes it.
