The Equity by La Crosse quartz analog clock features sleek silver casing and ticks off the hours on easy-to-read, black numbers. For checking the time in dim or dark settings, the clock’s dial illuminates on demand. The clock’s hands and hour marker dots also glow for better visibility. To wake the user more gently, the ascending alarm increases volume in four increments. Slow risers also benefit from a snooze feature. With a button on top of the clock, the user switches off the alarm. The clock requires the separate purchase of one AA alkaline battery. The clock measures 4 inches wide by 2 inches deep by 3-1/4 inches high and weighs 1 pound upon shipping.
The Equity 27006 is a compact analog clock. The luminous dial lets you see the time in the dark. The four-step ascending alarm can be shut off by a button mounted on the clock's top.

Nice design, but the ticking is so loud that I can't have it in the bedroom, which makes it useless as an alarm clock.

If you need help staying awake then this is the clock for you. It's just your basic, inexpensive, little alarm clock; simple to operate and easy to read. It is, however, very lightweight and flimsy, and one of the loudest ticking clocks I have ever encountered. Put it on your nightstand next to the bed any time you need to stay awake!
